9/7/2018: I am pretty sure no one else will ever read this, why would they?
I lost my husband and my one true love on December 21st, 2017 at 7:14 p.m. He died of Cancer.
I am grateful for the year and 2 months we had after his diagnosis. We had the opportunity to read the entire Christian Bible aloud to each other. We started with Genesis and finished with Revelation.
Before we tackled the Bible we read the epic poem Song of Hiawatha, it became our story. We cried at the tender all consuming love between Hiawatha and Minnehaha. The difference of course, was that in our case it would be the husband who would die first.
I am thankful that the Lord himself was in attendance and I am certain my love was received into Jesus' Presence.
I have been trying to keep body and soul together on about $1200 less each month than we got before my husband died. I have not been successful. I almost made it until my best friend, also a widow could move here and share my house and expenses. It was a good plan, I just couldn't stay afloat long enough. Today I officially went under. She is due here in a month.
