This is an authentic 14kT Gold Filled St. Mary Magdalene medal. Approximately 3/4 inch tall oval in 14kT Gold on an 18 inch Gold Plated Stainless Steel Chain. The medal depicts Mary Magdalene at prayer at the base of the Cross and along the top edge are the words Saint Mary Magdalene and along the bottom edge are the words Pray For Us.

*What is gold filled? Gold filled or gold overlay is a process of pressure bonding a thin layer of gold to a base metal core. Gold filled (unlike gold plating) has an actual layer of gold, giving it more value and making it tarnish-resistant.
